The plant in Pavlovsk is part of a large localization complex, where selection, research and production activities will be carried out.
The plant's capacity will be about 1 million sowing units per year. Seeds of corn, sunflower, rapeseed, soybeans and sorghum will be produced according to European technology. This will significantly reduce the dependence of Russian farms on imports.
Tasks
The localization of research activities will make it possible to create completely new varieties and hybrids that meet the requirements of Russian quality and yield.
Strategic plans
The project should enter full capacity by 2023. And by 2024, the goal is to reach approximately 75% of Russian production from total sales in the country's market and in the near abroad - Belarus, Kazakhstan.
